And whoever brought up kava tea... I just bought some yogi brand and it’s pretty interesting (good) taste. I also go two other teas for sleep and stress so we will see what happens :P

kava is good if you don't mind risking liver damage and death. if you need an herbal for sleep and anxiety, valerian is safer. https://www.webmd.com/vitamins/ai/ingre ... o-872/kava https://www.webmd.com/vitamins/ai/ingre ... 0/valerian

A lot of things cause liver damage and death... in excess along with prescriptions (from which I’ve had terrible side effects). It’s a mixed tea and pretty mild so no I have no worries about it and have no intention of drinking that much. It also tastes great and my liver is hardcore  I did mention I got other teas both chamomile based though. Don’t care for valerian.

NOT a lot of things with this much risk.

Serious illness, including liver damage, has occurred even with short-term use of normal doses. The use of kava for as little as one to three months has resulted in the need for liver transplants, and even death. Early symptoms of liver damage include yellowed eyes and skin (jaundice), fatigue, and dark urine.

at this point in my life I don’t even care anymore and yes there are a lot of things with much greater risk and I’ve been there. This stuff really isn’t a risk especially with the massive amount of inconclusive data, qualites, extractions, susceptibility and whatever else..

banned in canada and EU. name three things still on the market with greater risk that aren't for life and death indications. are you thinking of ending your life?

the time from starting kava to noticeable liver damage is 2-4 wks. watch for tea-colored urine around then if you insist on taking it.

I’m having a terrible day today and yesterday was too :(

I thought I understood stimming, but I really don’t. How does adding more stimulation if you’re already overstimulated help?

Yeah , it's a bit of a conundrum , I've been told to make a list of things that I should seek out in a sensory way when I'm overstimulated. I don't think I have ever sought out a sensory input to help my over stimulation except maybe wrap myself in a fluffy blanket which I always thought was a depression thing.

Hope you feel less terrible soon dude.

Well it’s from anxiety, but that’s part of depression and autism so  when you have both it’s waaaaaay more fun isn’t it :? Or all three?

I also have that taxing triad and it's a laugh a minute isn't it

not everything you might read on the web is reliable. some folks are out to sell something. here's info from someone with no financial stake in assessing risk. https://livertox.nih.gov/KavaKava.htm

WP is quiet - I wonder if it is because the brighter weather is giving some of us more options for the day?

April can be a very busy time for some reason and not just the weather.

The new financial year for some so new opening?

ADA - Autism, Depression and Anxiety - a diagnosis not to be sniffed at. :skull:

I suspect my cat teleports itself.
Everywhere I go she's there...looking like she's always been there...but she was just somewhere else looking like she was always there the last 7 times I saw her within the space of a few minutes.

Yes, I broke.
But I managed to sticky tape and staple myself back together for now.
Duct tape is magic.

How's things?
