[favourite skyline] The Worth Valley / moors in West Yorkshire.
The skyline at the head of the Worth valley has a rather lovely feature. As you look to the valley head from Leeming, there are a couple of lovely round hillocks with deep "cloughs" between them.
This is known as "Deep Arse"

(
Here's an article about it.)
I haven't baked a cake since I was a child; I don't remember one ever getting washed away, but knowing what British summers can be like, I wouldn't be surprised at all!
Which supernatural or mythological creature would you most like to be?
Thank you so much for the fascinating link!
I'm sure I mentioned that my family were in the Haworth area as stuff weavers and wool combers at the same time, and for generations. The idea kind of terrifies me because I'm extremely allergic (and autism-sensitive) to wool. I can't even go within yards of it without inhaling the fibre and becoming ill. It's incredible how our ancestors lived, isn't it?
If I could be a supernatural creature I'd be the fairies (will-o-the-wisps) which Tabitha Akroyd described to the Brontë sisters. They were magic sprites which roamed the moors like fireflies.
Do you have any special numbers that occur in patterns in your life?
