I remember watching this live. I'd always rush home after school to watch phil Schofield in the broom cupboard. I can't believe how clear the memories of it are, i was only 5-6. Ulysses 31 was really awesome too, it fired up an interest in sci fi at a very young age.

You missed out the best year, all the other years we had to stay in camp and do girly stuff in cabins and such. 4th year, we got to go legit camping and repelling and canoeing.

Woah... your camp sucked! I did canoeing the second year and repelling started 1st. We also did rock climbing!

I have done real camping before, though. I didn't need to wait for year 4 of girl's camp to experience that. *sighs longingly* I miss for realz camping.

FTR, the camp I went to didn't have cabins. We slept under the stars. :-D

You should go camping, you have 2 kids right? My uncle+aunt has a 2, 4, 7, and 9 year-old's and they go camping all the time. We went camping with them for spring break (my mom+dad, and my 2 sisters and I) and it was a blast.

Lucky! Most girls hated that there were even bugs there and were grateful for showers and those amenities. If I had it my way, we'd be sleeping on cots under the stars with a fire-pit as our source of energy.
