My emotions bring back memories of elementary school and high school. My callous teachers grilling me to keep calm and carry on like my precious, lil Anglo Canadian classmates. I felt a little lonely in this thread at times. People who said that they were interested in the Christmas party didn't come. They posted in other threads instead. I was expecting 15 members to all be posting at once.

I don't know who you mean, but I think there was a good turnout so far. Sorry I wasn't more active but like I said, I'm going through a very rough time irl and didn't want to be depressing here. Others have family commitments on the 24th and 25th but they're still welcome to hang out here for Boxing Day, New Year's, or any other time. It wasn't just a Christmas party but for all the holidays at this time of year.

The party doesn't have to be over. People can comment on acts of charity they're doing for Boxing Day, or gifts they gave / received, or what was good / bad so far about Christmas. In my case I have two family birthdays on Friday so that's yet another hurdle for me to jump.

Two family birthdays in one day? That's a lot.

My mother and my daughter.
On the fifth day of Christmas.
Five golden rings is a running joke.

It's not fun.
They don't love it either.

I hope nobody will get drunk, if someone get drunk, don't drive home, yourself.

Sweet Pea hugs

I really like the poem that you posted about Santa Claus earlier on.

I Really Love Run Rudolph Run, Chuck Berry wrote it & sang it, Bryan Adams cover the song, I LOVE Bryan version better, he sang it upbeat, more rock n roll, people can dance to it. Merry Belated Christmas & a Happy New Year!

yes. There arent many Christmas recordings that a crowd would actually dance to.

But the two versions of "Run Rudolf Run" come kinda close.

This might work.
