If I'm not mistaken, shooting off fireworks in a residential area is highly illegal.

I think we'll take mum and...four of her friends to that new chinese place. To hell with ringing up her workmates to see if they wanna come. I'll ask mum's friend if she wants to make the cake for us (it's bound to be a good cake if she does it).
