I'm up a third time. One third the charm.

I have a better idea for a Halloween avatar. I get to be myself for Halloween here....I can hardly wait.

Is it just my imagination or am I a more pleasant member now than I was 12 years ago?

You won't be able to travel to most of the places that other people can and part of it is because you're crippled. Look on the bright side. You can watch movies that take place in Jolly Old London.

A need to go to a gym near my house.

I've been on this website for over a decade

I have to get bloodwork done on Thursday. My mom told me I should drink plenty of water before we go so it will be easier for them to find a vein and the needle will be less painful. Apparently the water helps your veins to expand. She also said I should try to not eat a lot of sugary stuff before we go so they won't think I have diabetes.

I don't know why the hospital staff never tell you this kind of stuff.

I need to drive 50 km to buy a pair of trainers for indoor skydiving on Thursday.

It's understandable why I melted down when I realized my travel plans were foiled by my mobility issues. London means a great deal to me, but I found a way around it.

Why not Donovin Bailey or Wayne Gretzky? It's going to hurt to say this, but I feel more German than I do Canadian. In other words, who cares? Nobody's perfect.

I'll be running six miles tomorrow. I'm not sure if I'm looking forward to this. I mean, I'll be glad when I've done it, and I'm pleased with my progress. But I never was into distance running and that hasn't changed. Five miles felt like a small eternity and that was less than an hour total. This next one should be longer than an hour and it does get boring to me after the 3/4 mi mark. Guess it's good that I can be hard headed and how I feel about this is irrelevant in the big picture. Still...damn. But I got this. It will happen.

Though I'm losing weight, I'm going to end up looking like Matt Steiner on Testosterone instead of Mick Avory, aren't I. My mum once told me that people come in all shapes and sizes. If God wanted me to look like the Kinks drummer, I'd be under 200 lbs by now.
