My struggle is being afraid to assert myself. And to be a better cleaner of the house.
Do you feel you have to “take the plunge” often? Do you feel you must do things sometimes before you are ready to do them?
My life was one long plunge for many years. I was continually paddling water and trying to appear normal / stay alive / deal with complex manipulation. I didn't slow down to reflect on patterns until after my stroke in 2015. That's when I began to understand my neurodiversity. I try not to plunge at all any more, although this can lead to overavoidant behaviour. I'm feeling a bit plunged today while visiting an old friend. I will lay low and not use his boat until tomorrow.
How do you stay afloat when you feel the plunge calling?

Newspaper taxis appear on the shore, waiting to take you away....
Where are they? I'm looking.
Why am I so homesick?
