Thank you for the summary. I do recall learning about "genetic memory" and this sounds quite similar. I will do more research so I can join our WP discussions of Jung.

Yes, I am almost always awake all night. I love the dark and I tend to retire around dawn when given a chance.

Do you have any bedtime routines?

Nope...never have....even as a little baby. I don't remember my mother ever reading to me (though she must have).

Same question.

I guess it could be "genetic," somehow (the Collective Unconscious)---maybe because of some sort of "natural selection?"

A couple of hours on the internet, or watching a film on dvd, accompanied by a bottle of wine.

Have you ever been to the summit of a volcano?

Alas, never. I did go to the "Summit School," though. I felt like exploding like a volcano sometimes.

Have you been to the summit of a mountain?

No, I think I ought to make the effort to visit the summit of Mt Snowdon in North Wales. It's only about 100 miles or so from where I live.

I went to the top of Mt Vesuvius in 2001.

Do you think the Oil Age is or soon will be over?

It is speculated that we will run out of oil in about 75 years.

I feel like the gasoline engine in cars will be obsolete within 30 years or so.

Do you really want to take a pill, instead of eat steak?

No, but I'd rather eat chicken than steak as a rule.

Do you think we'll see the first 150-year-old person before the end of this century? I obviously don't mean 'we' in the literal sense there...

I tend to doubt it. People, very rarely, make it to 120 now. The oldest person still living is about 117 years old, I believe.

Do you believe we'll find something other than chemotherapy/radiation to get rid of cancer?

I've read a lot of stuff about recent successes with genetic manipulation and immunotherapy in this area, so yes.

Do you always vote in local and national elections?

I vote in both.

Do you make your own jams/jellies/preserves?

No, but I've seen the process. Maybe one day I'll learn how.

What is your preferred method of expressing yourself creatively?

I've been on a few of them. It's okay if you just want to read and relax. The ocean becomes monotonous after a while.

Same question.
