Yes, I think so, though you're drawing a pretty fine distinction perhaps. If one is struggling with stress, then one is probably stressed, and therefore will have problems deriving from being stressed. Or maybe not?

Are you any good at playing Poker?

I can shuffle like a pro, but have no idea how to play. I have quite an aversion toward cards, quite frankly.

I don't know. It's a concept I'm struggling with in therapy. I should say yes, but that opens another can of monsters for me.

Parts of both. I don’t believe in Rousseau’s “blank slate.” Locke inspired the Founding Fathers.

Closet atheists, closet gays, closet trans, closet neurodiverse. You name it, yes.

I did some research on a 19th C West Riding (Yorkshire) lunatic asylum when I studied Jane Eyre (re: Bertha Mason). (Check it out online).
