If not Hungary, I'd chose Croatia.

How long has it been since you felt extremely embarrassed?

I always feel embarrassed.

Have you ever struggled with stress itself without actually having any problems from being stressed?

Yes, I think so, though you're drawing a pretty fine distinction perhaps. If one is struggling with stress, then one is probably stressed, and therefore will have problems deriving from being stressed. Or maybe not?

Are you any good at playing Poker?

I can shuffle like a pro, but have no idea how to play. I have quite an aversion toward cards, quite frankly.

Do you have a snack before bed?

Yes, but I've forgotten what it was (seriously).

Who was the best magician of the last half-century, in your opinion?

lol that's classic.

I liked Criss Angel, but I don't know anyone else in this past half century.

Do you like oatmeal cookies?

Do you believe the Wyf of Bath actually wore blue stockings?

A bluestocking is a well-educated woman, as coined by a women's social movement in Victorian England.
Maybe Chaucer was ahead of his time.

Do you believe in fate?

Not preordained.

The Wyf of Bath worry blue stockings that ran.

Do you believe in (mostly) free will? There can never be “total” free will.

I don't know. It's a concept I'm struggling with in therapy. I should say yes, but that opens another can of monsters for me.

Did you read Locke and / or Rousseau?

Parts of both. I don’t believe in Rousseau’s “blank slate.” Locke inspired the Founding Fathers.

Do you believe many Deists in the 18th century were closet atheists?

Closet atheists, closet gays, closet trans, closet neurodiverse. You name it, yes.

I did some research on a 19th C West Riding (Yorkshire) lunatic asylum when I studied Jane Eyre (re: Bertha Mason). (Check it out online).

I shiver to think we would all be inmates for our differences.

Did you always feel an affinity for the Island of Misfit Toys, on Rudolph? I was the little, spotted elephant.

I’ll have to look that up. Never seen that aspect of “Rudolph.”

Do you believe Baloney has a first name, it’s O S C A R?
