My favourite non-WH is Villette. It's sublime. It has a much deeper tone than Jane Eyre, including a drug-induced hallucination by Charlotte.

You would like Melville, I believe. Sort of a skeptic of human nature. Very unVictorian, in that sense. Stark realism at times. Very psychological.

Yes, thanks. I have prescription migraine meds. I took some and seem to have slept it off.

Do you experience headaches or migraines frequently?

I get tension headaches sometimes. Probably not migraines.

Is it really a pleasant day where you are? It's not bad here---low 20's Celsius.

I actually have no idea what the weather was like today because I had the curtains and blinds shut to help my migraine. I just took my dog out now, and the evening is fairly cool.

Do you have nice penmanship?
