I assembled a swivel-chair that I bought over a year ago, but have only just unpacked. God, what a nightmare - it took almost three hours and everything that could go wrong did go wrong, eg I fitted the main assembly back-to-front on the backrest, many of the screws wouldn't seat properly, the tools supplied like spanners etc were the wrong size, but it's finally usable, lol.

I've just beaded two bracelets in shades of pink that I'm not crazy about when my dysphoria was at its strongest. I'm F to M and I identify as Male so strongly that I affectionately call myself Sgt. Schultz sometimes. All the beads that are the most girly shades of pink are now used up, which is a good thing. Someone gave those pinkies to me.

It's funny, a pink bracelet would get called unmanly, but a pink Cuda:

No one would dare suggest that's 'unmanly'.

It's kinda silly really.

Indeed, I'm glad your dysphoria isn't as severe right now. It's a shame for social norms to take a colour away from you.

I haven't drank since Monday (I think), despite it being very hard to resist the urge to do that. I think how sick I'm starting to get whenever I get drunk is making my brain avoid doing that.

Had a three hour chat with a friend online.

Finally did some paperwork that needed to be done for about two months.
That took about an hour but also about four hours of mental buildup.

A fair amount of laundry and folding.
Only one duplicated load.

Changed a lightbulb in a difficult spot.

General tidy-up.

Made a difficult phone call that didn't get me anywhere.

I... er, organised my collection of coloured pencils which I rarely actually use, then went out for my monthly book group in the pub, where I mostly just sat there wondering why my face wasn't working. But I ran into one of the other members at the bus stop on the way back and we ended up talking about Star Trek, so there's that.

Avoided death by perfumed cat litter -- well almost

Hid in my room to avoid life and perfumed cat litter

Emailed someone about something important

Did all the circus stuff for my pets

Talked to mother for a very long time on the phone

That's about it

There's always tomorrow right?

I didn't achieve much at all. Even with the windows and doors closed the smoke from the fires has been kicking my butt today. Apparently I'm hyper sensitive to this stuff. I did not know that before, but I guess it makes sense.
