Yes, of course. I've skated on it.

Have you ever baked a birthday cake for someone?

Yes, many. I prefer baking to buying.

Do you light candles on a regular basis? (around the room, not on cakes)

I never light candles. Not for any reason. It just doesn't occur to me.

I bet you do.....perhaps even around your bathtub....

I use little faerie lights more than candles, but I do have quite a few candles and lanterns.
Yes, there are a few by the bath. :)

If you were in a relationship would you want to called a name like "honey", "baby", "sweetheart", etc?

There's something hot about having a partner look me in the eyes and call me by my name.
However, the other words are OK if used with genuine affection.

Do you ever watch television news?

I used to watch it all the time. Nowadays, I'm at work, so I don't watch it often.

I was never a "news junkie"---but I used to like watching the news when I was younger.

Do you remember K-Tel commercials?

No, but I know what K-Tel is.

Did you own a mood ring? I did.

I did own a "mood ring." It didn't last long, though.

A K-Tel commercial for doo-wopp classics got me really into doo-wopp in 1974. The song that did it for me was "Baby oh Baby," by the Shells. Then I heard "Sincerely" by the Moonglows in 1975, and that got me hooked even more.

Do you like street-corner doo-wopp from the 1950s?

I don't know it well. My trauma psych was gushing about his obsession with 1950s black music yesterday (his words). It was an excellent chat :) It's so sweet because he's a tiny, elderly white Jewish man who survived the Holocaust but he was belting out some soulful tunes and jive dancing in his seat. We have such a blast together especially when he lets me talk about my books! He loves the Brontës, too!

Do you like tennis?

I like it okay. I don't follow it like I used to when Bjorn Borg, John McEnroe, and Martina Navratilova were prominent.

How about you?

I know nothing about it, at all. I used to be envious when girls had the little tags on their shoes (in the laces). It meant they belonged to a tennis club and that they were preppy.

Have you ever played Squash?

I've played squash maybe a couple of times, badminton maybe a couple of times.

Have you ever thought about playing polo?
