No, you mean she was small :(

Yes, I do make wishes at fountains.

How long has it been since you had a full-on meltdown from overload?

I sort of did on the train yesterday. I was irritated that I forgot that I had parked my car in Briarwood (near the Kew Gardens subway station), rather than leaving it at home. That meant that I would get home at least a half an hour later than usual. And I had to get up early the next morning. People thought I was nuts.

Same question.

An actual meltdown that other people could see? Probably during my travel earlier this month. One night I was overloaded from my cousin's loud TV and bright lights and general commotion. When I tried to hide I was attacked by buzzing mosquitos. I couldn't calm down.

Prior to that was my famous salsa incident, and the time when I broke a bottle of red wine vinegar on my stone floor.
Both were "bad scenes". :(

When was the last time you were so happy that you bounced?

I think a few days ago. I was happy that I was esteemed at Wrong Planet.

Same question.

I'm not sure. I do bounce when I'm happy but I can't think of an example.

OHHHH WAIT --- the ducks!! I bounced heartily at the ducks!

On a scale of 1 -10 how much empathy do you feel you have for people? (10 being the most).

Generally, too much. The problem is I have difficulty expressing it or managing the emotions, so I try to shut it off and can appear distant. I can't win. I'd say about 9-10, but I'm wrongly perceived as a 3 or 4 when I shut down.

What was the last movie you saw in a cinema?

A Quiet Place. It was interesting to watch the non-verbal communication but the story itself was quite lame and stupid.
(In my opinion).

Are there any specific perfume / cologne scents that remind you of specific people? I had an imaginary scent of my maternal grandmother's perfume today. It is so engrained in my memory that it almost brings me to tears. I've forgotten the name but it will come to me.

There are perfumes I associate with specific people—but I never know the name of them.

How about food smells?

My (late) aunt reminded me of the smell of gravy. Or, vice versa.

My grandmother's perfume was Estée Lauder, Youth Dew. I remember now. I feel very sad because I've not been kind to her on WP. She's my maternal grandmother who moved to Los Angeles and was a model and wanted me to walk with books on my head. She was very image-conscious, but I suddenly miss her a lot :(

Also I remember my dad's after shave. If I ever come across that scent I will likely collapse.

Which food smells do you associate with things / people / places?

I can’t think of anything specific at this point—but there are associations.

Any synesthesic occurrences tonight?

I'm overwhelmed with sensory flashbacks about my maternal grandmother all of a sudden and I don't know why. Her perfume, her voice, the bumpy texture of her "train case" (1950s cosmetic case) that she always carried to our house on the airplanes from California, like a Jackie O hand bag. I loved her train case. I can remember the arrangement of all her items inside. It opened out like a fishing tackle box. I can feel the texture of the nightgowns she made for me. I remember she ate white, pickled onions from a jar. It's not quite synaesthesia but I am having strong sensory memories, completely unsolicited. I usually only think about my father's side of the family so this is a very odd sensation. She died in 2001 and I spent that summer in LA. I came back just about a week before 911.

Are you having synaesthesia or do you wish you were?

Not really, as these days I don't use any specified social platform regardless of what it is, well with the exception of email, but that's just me.

Do you enjoy reading about places?
