I remember my grandad's telly would do that thing when you switched it off where the picture would go down to a tiny white dot in the middle of the screen and that dot would stay there for ages before finally fading away.

I may not be old but I love old-fashioned things. Things used to be made to look good and now they're ugly and fall apart in a few weeks. I also think analog things look so much cooler.
