It seems that what goes on in the bathroom when a shower is running is a lot more audible from outside the bathroom than one would think. He might think he’s being discreet.

It's a shame how bullies can sometimes find themselves suddenly very accident prone and how it always happens right after being spoken to by a few burly strangers in tracksuits.

I’m miffed at someone who recently accused me of “cosplaying” as a veteran simply because I mis-remembered a few military terms.

I’m in my late 60’s and my time in service ended a few decades ago, so of course remembering which name went with which medal/ribbon is prone to error.

Subbing another secretary work, in days I'm not supposed to work.
Chores at home I left because tomorrow my sister's going to arrive from abroad anytime.

Fancyisms of going back to practice art, give fan art a shot.
Fantasies of attempting cosplaying because work said so and going all out on art because "what the heck"?

As usual of not feeling like it. Like my body feel like it should sleep all day.
But no, that's probably just my damn head trying to avoid in pretense of tiredness when I did more or less nothing stressful.

A work that I'm looking forward working but only to find out that I'm not doing it... :?
Anyone else in my position would've been pleased; no effort, none of the responsibility and the credited outcome. But I'm not.

Really holding onto my budget because I was certain that I'm gonna get more fix of chocolate this week.

And that as much as I like looking at notebooks and printed spread layouts of varying sizes, colors and pages...
... A simple set of a 200gsm board and 10 sheets worth of 90gsm paper, a stapler with some adhesive plastic cover is more than enough for me to fill up to a year worth of real life writing.

Also I really should. Stop. Reading.
And if I'm reading; I should stop subvocalizing.

I was reading about how some parents have removed the doors to their kids' bedrooms. I read a story someone had about when they were a kid they accidentally walked in on their parents doing it, in the middle of the day, and they ran to their bedroom and then their dad removed their bedroom door. I guess they thought the kid should have no privacy of their own as punishment of accidentally invading theirs.

That's just evil. Kids are people too, and they need privacy like the rest of us. I know I'd go out of my mind if my own parents didn't respect my privacy. Although my brother sure didn't.
