Does it? It seems like what's expected of a responsible pet owner.

Well I can call myself that. But can I still call myself his friend?

Since I got rid of the concept of circadian rhythm out of my system...
Because, really, 3 hrs, 9hrs, 15 hrs sleep -- makes no real difference to me. All are equally not as healthy. So what's the point anymore?

... I begin to perceive days as a continuation.
In between, has no full stop pauses.
Results that gave me more momentum and way less inertia from resting and sleeping.

In which there is no basis when my day 'should' start or end -- that's me and my body and the relative perception on how I manage my time, not the objective reality of timezones' day and night.

I kinda like it.
It makes me feel way less complacent and actually start being wise with how I spend my time.

Like how I ended up sleeping way early than later.
Getting rid of subtle FOMO and the basis of revenge bedtime procrastination; and more like getting over with quicker with bodily needs.

And wayyy less uncertainty; all of this in one swoop.

The real test, however, is a month after.

Tonight I got to listen to my dad's justification of why we need to move to Canada.

He's completely right but I'm not happy about it.

You're not his friend. You're his owner who's obliged to make choices like that on his behalf.

Pretty sure Canada started hanging up 'Sorry but we're full' signs on the borders a few months back.

I kept sensing either other people's nightmares and fears or that there are waves of fear that it's affecting my thoughts and dreams.

My reaction to fear is still annoyance, obviously and fight -- which does work.
But I don't think it's an optimal one... Not with this one scenario.

Really.
Disturbing imagery in my head makes no sense. Hadn't watched any horror medium lately, Halloween's over, etc.

 But fine.
I'll take nightmares and weird disturbing crap.
If I'm going to master my emotions, might as well explore fear like how I'm forced to make do with anger and pride....

Just so I might bash my ego's fears like an adult mocking a scared kid.
AKA something I'm not used to doing but yeah, yeah, I get the point and gradually do it for real but at the moment, I don't like it.

You may be right, but my dad is a very intelligent person and I trust that he knows what he's doing. He's trying to be proactive and get out before everyone else.

If I get my passport and the war had been declared...
... Where should I go?

I'm getting my passport this month.
... I hope.

He might be able to navigate things, but it's still worth remembering that reducing immigration has become a consensus policy for the major parties here.

Again, I trust that he's done his research and knows what he's doing. None of us are happy about it but he's been planning for this possibility for four years, doing endless research, and I trust his judgement that he can make it work. Everything you're saying here, I'm sure he knows and is prepared for. If anyone in the world knows how to prepare, it's him.

By the way, I feel I should be clear about something -- It seems like you and I argue a lot, and while I may be contrarian at times, overall I get the impression that you're a smart person whose opinions are worth listening to. I just don't respond when I agree with you.
