We all make sacrifices to keep harmony in a family and as long as you don't suffer as a consequence it's usually worth it - although it always seems like i'm the one who has to apologise , adjust or sacrifice - I wonder if that's common on the spectrum
Absolutely! Although I’d rather not be arrogant. It’s comforting to have a clear conscience and know you at least did your best to maintain peace. And you’re human, there’s a limit and one shouldn’t be a doormat.
I think spectrumites have to learn assertiveness and keeping their own needs in mind more
People like lawyers have a lot of arrogance - when they inevitably do something wrong and can’t acknowledge it so they probably don’t improve much
