I think so too about everything you said.

We all make sacrifices to keep harmony in a family and as long as you don't suffer as a consequence it's usually worth it - although it always seems like i'm the one who has to apologise , adjust or sacrifice - I wonder if that's common on the spectrum

Absolutely! Although I’d rather not be arrogant. It’s comforting to have a clear conscience and know you at least did your best to maintain peace. And you’re human, there’s a limit and one shouldn’t be a doormat.

I think spectrumites have to learn assertiveness and keeping their own needs in mind more

People like lawyers have a lot of arrogance - when they inevitably do something wrong and can’t acknowledge it so they probably don’t improve much

Thanks for your support, Tem, but I think I've been a touch too outspoken on several fronts today.
Lack of sleep makes me contrary, obviously.

Perhaps outspoken, at least for you. But definitely well spoken.

Last night my elder woke with reflux and Attempted to talk to me (complaining of his pain)! It was just a repeated ‘wawawa’ sound but he was looking directly at me and complaining n responding when I asked him ‘does it hurt’ ‘let me get medicine can u wait’ etc

Now today he is happy, clapping n attempting to talk and communicate . Looking in eyes n very engaged

My GF said I'm too nice to be assertive ( I think that means doormat  ) , I think I come across as aggressive when I try to be assertive ( or maybe that's a game people play i.e tell you you're aggressive when your just being assertive )

Not to rant about nuking it, cause that boat has done sailed in many regards.

But all I want is some closure, I mean the gov is just gonna come, screw my life all to hell, make me feel like an experiment. Load me up on drugs and then just call me crazy, its BS to be blunt. But I still have faith we are nuking this to holy hell, as in I am going to be so high, I am not coming down type nuke it to hell. Like am I serious? Posting about CIA and MKUltra and I know the enemy knows where I call my home. I mean like nuke it from orbit, its the only way to be sure

Is closure too much to ask for?

They were already here so nothing has changed so why ever even tell me.

nuke it from orbit, its the only way to be sure...

Had an amazing 2 hours at the park with my younger one. Elder was with nurse who took him on a walk around our neighbourhood.

The Chinese community here has such a good system where the grandparents do Tai Chi and dance or look after the dog/play chess, while looking after the grandkids. It makes the atmosphere very safe and healthy.

I made friends with a little kid and he asked us to come back later today. He’s so sweet. He ran round to push my child on the merry-go-round.

What to have for supper?

It has been a lovely day, scampi and salad earlier.

Now to watch a film and chill out. 8)

Wow, he looks so much like his Mum.
People here would say "he's the spit of you."
Never really understood that saying.
