I left my water bottle in class this morning. It wouldn't have been a big deal since I realized I didn't have it as I was leaving the building, but instead of going back I became convinced that actually I'd never brought it and it was still in my apartment. When I got back to my apartment I saw that it wasn't there but I was out of spoons and wasn't going to walk all the way back across campus. I figured I'd go back later in the day. But when I went back I found that the room I left it in was locked. So I started frantically emailing people because I couldn't handle going all weekend without the water bottle. I found out where the lost and found was and they had like 100 water bottles, none of which were mine. Finally just before the building closed someone was able to let me into the room and it was still there.

Has there ever been that much confusion over a water bottle?

Getting home at a reasonable time in order to avoid setting off my mom's anger issues.

I'm thinking of going on a very short bike ride but I'm not sure if I'm up to it because I'm always so tired. But I feel like I should try to move at least a little bit when I can.

I was studying German for 10 years or so and the most complex thing I can say is "Ich bin nicht vorbereitet".

I’m not so much interested in speaking it, but I’d like to be able to read German literature, especially poetry, as well as understand spoken/sung German. Of course, I’d also like to improve my French. Hmm. Too many things are interesting, and there’s not enough time for it all.

I would learn every language in the world if I could. Sadly I can't.

I have been wanting to learn German though, to exercise my brain and because I find it interesting. And because I may end up living in Germany someday.

I recently got a Hot Wheels BMW M3 E30 Wagon.

It just occurred to me it's not a car that ever really existed because it's a 3-door wagon. BMW offered the E30 as a five-door wagon, but the M3 was only offered as a 2-door coupe and convertible.

This looks like an M3 below the beltline and up to the b-pillar with a modified version of the 5-door wagon's roof and rear hatch. It definitely could be built in real life, but would require custom windows in place of the 5-door model's rear door windows.
