Not even when I am actually dancing unless I suppose that it is 'like' dancing and I am not actually dancing but doing something similar.
Some one told me that. "[They] were like walking down a street ~ " and I asked to save confusion, "If it was like walking what were they actually doing for it to be comparable with walking?" A cat for instance is not a lion but they are like each other in being as such cat like.
Do you or have you ever had difficulties with literal or analogical or metaphorical interpretations when form and meaning relationships have not been established or made contextually relevant?
