I used a spring-tension pole, between a stack of boxes on the floor, and the ceiling, with a foam exercise pad at the top, to block the cold air return from the room above (my housemate's bedroom), so that the fan she uses to suck hot air from outside doesn't heat up my room, too. Maybe it'll mute the TV a little bit, too.

I took an AGA range cooker out of someone's house, got it down a path and up onto a pallet. Such a satisfying job.

I started swimming against the tide of crap that I've buried myself in. Listed 8 things on fleabay - little to no interest. Deleted the buy it now listing's and started them all off at £0.99

Filled a car full of stuff that once looked like treasure and now looks like crap. I think this lesson isn't going to be cheap, big financial losses in order to clear the decks... well, it will amount to a few days work.

Several projects to finish /abandon/dismantle/sell/boot out...... feels stifling

I went to paint ceramics with my other aunt and my Nana, and I also went to the store with them and got some groceries.

I won three things in various online contests today - and the most expensive one was a 1000 Polish zlotys voucher for buying pieces of furniture online  :D

What did you paint?

I got the base colours on a little bunny (to make Malo again lol) and a ceramic feather (that I was painting like the blue feather in my favourite Harvest Moon game). I haven't added details yet. I can show you how they look so far after work, if you want.

I practiced math, and took some notes about mechanical and electrical systems.

Messing around on my laptop trying to fix things. Found out the battery is, in fact, f****d, so I ordered a new battery + AC adapter (my rabbit chewed mine and it has electrical tape on it...).

It was the final end of my aunt's suffering - as she had: a stroke, a heart attack, Covid, a sepsa, bronchitis and some kidney related dissues at the same time. There was no chance she could get better, especially that she was already an elderly lady - she turned 76 this spring. Aunt Elżbieta (or just Ela for short) was mom's older sister. Mom also got reconciled with their brother before the funeral - they didn't talk to each other for 20 years.
