Book II and V are probably the ones that need editing the most, since they're the longest.
Book IV is basically a novella [17,000 words], and Book III and VI/VII are nearly the same length [close to 30,000 words, each].
In my second series, there's three characters [sort of] introduced in Book I, six characters introduced in Book II, five characters introduced in Book III-IV, and two characters introduced in Book V [one of the characters from III-IV is technically the same character as the hero of V--reincarnation-wise]. Book VI has almost every character all in one place as a 'lash hurrah' kind of thing.
