It's very difficult for me to sleep at night, but I do try.

What does this song make you think of?

I tried listening without looking so that wouldn't affect what I imagined, and it is nothing even remotely related to the image or the title.

The first minute or so, I imagined a chrysalis or something of the sort in some sort of room underground. then the shot panning to a clearing within a forest (around dusk) that holds a garden with large areas of cobblestone, that begin to glow in patterns as if reacting to something. Some sections of the cobblestone shift as something emerges from underground (whatever was in said chrysalis from before), but there's no clear view as to what it is. The point where the tempo increases is where this being flees into the forest with the shot following it for a time before it ultimately disappears.

...I'm sorry, I'm trying too hard. :|

Same q if anyone else wants to try or, alternate q: What is the lengthiest project you've ever undertaken?

It would have to be learning how to drive over a great deal of distance.

Do you look for a multitude of answers to any given problem?

Not really, if anything I look for the simplest/fastest solution.

Same question?

I try to approach a problem in the most simplified manner but, always considering various means to reach the conclusion though.

Ever had any medical/hospital procedures done?

I like the simplest method to arrive at solutions.....but I also like considering many aspects.

Many, virtually every procedure and around ten major surgeries (one was repeated several times).

Ever wanted something desperately, got it, and then didn't want it?

Yes, that would be a gaming console...

Do you feel autism in all of it's variants is more than just neurological difficulties?

Yes, there are neurological wonders as well. There's a keen intuition or premonition that often accompanies autism, as well as special abilities like synaesthesia or acute perception.

Do you feel like most of your family / friends who aren't ND really don't have a clue what it's like?

A great many of my family members really don't understand what it's like to be autistic in the most comprehensive sense, yet I try my best to explain it to them.

Does your family try to impress upon you the need to socialize and make friends, even if doing such presents a great deal of trouble for you overall?

My family doesn't know I'm autistic. I just had my assessment this year as an adult so my family wasn't really involved. I told one cousin who lives in another country, but no one else. I haven't told my mother because she would take it personally somehow (?!) They attribute all my differences to my Trauma Disorder.

I don't live with my mother but she is quite critical of my reclusive nature. I just ignore it and roll my eyes.

Do you feel like most books / websites describe it properly?

In some ways yes, but in other ways absolutely not.

How do you manage with the day to day tasks of life in general?

I make many, many to-do lists. Most of them roll forth from day to day. I pay for help as needed. I don't do much repair work on my own but I do the cleaning. The worst part for me is executive function / paperwork, but that would be difficult even if I lived with a support person. I am looking for an OT to help me with executive planning and execution, but I can't find anyone.

I also have a support dog for trauma, so that helps when I go out.

Same question.

I often use reminders on my actual calendar which is posted on my refrigerator, helping me to recall specific tasks & appointments.

I try to sometimes get the most comprehensive duties done first as often as possible.

If you could create a computer program, what would you like to create?
