Once you fall in love with TV you never go back to radio.

If you're referring to talk shows or stories or whatever... I can't pay attention long enough to understand what's being said. My mom is used to hearing "I don't know what you just said" and she will repeat herself like it's a normal thing  other people get irritated needing to repeat so much. I probably only hear half of what's said and then I may not even process all of it. It happen so with tv too though which is probably why I have no problem with foreign movies and reading subtitles so easily. More engaging?

Who here is visual?

I came here to say my brain is in overdrive and I can't. Stop. Thinking. About. Everything. Trying to do a word search which normally takes five minutes and umm well I got to the last two words and ten minutes later here I am! Hello

I'm trying to not ramble, but it is sooooooooooo difficult right now

Heckin add :skull:

I'm talking about Hogan's Heroes over The Kinks.

Hogan's Heros is not comparable to The Kinks. But then... what about German music? I have an old record of German beer drinking songs that's pretty funny. I like a nice mix of music and tv, but I basically need constant noise or my brain goes (more) wild

That’s a good example of how it helps for plain...day to day survival.

Enjoy the radio over TV. Or audiobooks and podcasts. TV is too...addictive. I don’t even own one. It’s like what I used to say about iPhones .. Nokia flip phones only for me—I know I will be glued to the iPhone if I get it.. well I have one now And I’m proving myself right

Oh the ex lawyer did that without telling me or saying anything. That’s why I was so confused. I had come into the building to pay his retainer fee (to the secretary) and suddenly I felt a poke and looked and he was there walking away smiling.

^ It doesn't seem a very professional thing to do, seems over-familiar.
I could understand doing that kind of thing to a good friend, but not in a lawyer/client situation.

Yeah and he was extremely formal in his emails . I will never understand why he manipulated me about
‘ask your XH if he is even still using his lawyer- they haven’t responded for months. I bet you he isn’t. Go ahead, ask him’
‘Can you ask them In a letter ? ‘
‘Oh and what if they don’t respond again?’
‘Um can you call his lawyer and ask?’
‘Why would I do that?’
‘Because then he won’t hang up on you.’
‘Right but people can say anything on the phone. That’s why I use letters.’
(Etc essentially he started ranting about how I need to go to court and ‘you’ve accomplished nothing’ and how my parents set me up for failure etc)
All this in a phone call so I have no record

Then I asked XH and he used that point (having his lawyer or not, signing a form so my lawyer cd contact him) to manipulate me for 2 weeks during which I kept contacting my lawyer about it and CC-ing him in all the emails.

Then it culminated in a really bad way.

At any point the lawyer could have intervened but didn’t

Because later other lawyers told me he should have initiated and followed a certain protocol n contacted XH’s lawyer etc.

Like there’s a whole process fr lawyers to follow in such situations and it doesn’t involve the client directly contacting.

So I don’t know. I guess everyone better stay away from lawyers. Don’t trust anyone. Except ‘strangers on the net’ of course

I'd rather be 'addicted' to tv or a phone and be distracted instead of being dragged down by anxiety.

I don't think the lawyer meant it to be taken negative and was probably being overly friendly. I'm pretty sure its happened to me before  either way he just seems like a bad lawyer.

"It was so cold last week that I saw several lawyers with their hands in their own pockets."

A surgeon, an architect an a lawyer are having a heated barroom discussion concerning which of their professions is actually the oldest profession.

The surgeon says:

"Surgery IS the oldest profession. God took a rib from Adam to create Eve and you can't go back further than that."

The architect says:

"Hold on! In fact, God was the first architect when he created the world out of chaos in 7 days, and you can't go back any further than THAT!"

The lawyer puffs his cigar and says:

"Gentlemen, Gentlemen...who do you think created the CHAOS??! !"

Morning folks,

I will attempt to finish the dreaded form today.

My hopes are to go to my psychologist appointment and post it on my way home.

Mr Kraftie, you can call me Tem, Temmy or anything else I will recognise - I am easy.

You will probably see a different Tem after this form is finished, oh how it has weighed on me like an elephant sat on my shoulders, holding an umbrella to shield us from the dark thunder cloud following me.

*flies away to get on with important task*

Yeah I would love to have constant supervision and security as we nuke it clean to hell
I mean yeah, lets conspiracy it straight to almighty God.
And lets do it live on CNN 8)

I would have thought you had enough people watching you.

Your said yourself a long time ago nothing has changed so gov spies on people anyway so if my home is public as the street then why should I care? I mean if its constant spying then lets just go in guns blazing and nuke MKUltra.

what do you do if encountered by a shark? tell it you're a lawyer. it will give you professional courtesy.

why do scientists use lawyers for experiments instead of lab rats? there are more lawyers than lab rats. it's harder to get attached to a lawyer. and there are just some things a lab rat won't do.
