Did you get one of the AP awards?
I guess I knew the reason the whole time. I got AP Scholar with Distinction, but colleges never offer me any additional scholarships based on that or any other award mainly because I don't have a green card. Here are just a few examples:
1) UChicago's additional National Merit scholarship is only given to finalists. I can't be a National Merit finalist, even though I am a semifinalist based on my PSAT score, because I don't have a green card.
2) Obviously, from 1), I won't be able to get the National Merit scholarship that is given by NMSC.
3) I just got accepted to Case Western Reserve University, and got an interview to its 8-year pre-med program. Now the funny thing is, one of my friends also got accepted and received an interview, and has more or less the same stats as I do. He got a $25,000 scholarship, and guess how much I got? That's right, ZIP. Guess I won't be going to Case Western, then.

I got only With Honor and I forgot to do the little NMSQT letter. Have you been accepted to other schools yet? They say it is possible to make the schools compete for giving the best scholarship.
Current high-school juniors who have taken the PSAT and will receive notes in April, do NOT delay a single day with doing the survey! Make sure it is done by the end of the AP exams, because that will make a nice, stressful reminder!

I've only been accepted to UChicago, Ohio State, and Case Western so far. I'm inclined to go to UChicago if I don't get in anywhere else.
Also, I love what you used to censor my swear word.
