Cast comes off today. It could have come off sooner but I opted for more time to make sure it's fully heald and then some.

That's good news.

Don't be scared when you find that your leg is much smaller than what it was before you got the cast. This is only temporary---especially if you do the exercises properly.

Does it feel really light without it on? My wrist does when my thumb brace has been on for work and that's only a

few hours and its not as heavy as a cast.

Feels light and numb and looks withered. The doc seemed really pleased with it though. I wish I could try it out right away. but it's going to take a while to see how well it's been improved.

It always looks like that when you first get a cast off.

I have lots of experience with casts....I've broken a few bones in my time.....

Your mentioning “withered” reminded me of the next phase for you! After I had the cast off my arm (after 6 weeks of having it) all of the withered skin peeled off.

Yep. That will happen, too. Nothing to worry about.

Congrats, Ezra. I'm glad you got your cast off and that everything seems to be healing well. I broke my left foot twice in a row in 2017 and had a cast for almost 12 weeks. My leg looked odd too, just from not putting weight on it. Good luck in your continued recovery.

I broke my arm when I was 9 and was in a full cast. When it got taken off my arm "floated" and looked awful. I had developed an infection and that area was especially gross looking.

Welp I have upgraded to using a walker. That's more of a coordination issue since I have a more advanced walking brace. But It's going well. Already I can tell my leg is aligned compared ro how it used to be. I think I'll make pretty good progress.looking forward to taking walks in the spring.

The leg is making very good progress.

Since the only video game I play was offline for a few days, I started on another one. So that's two whole games I'm now playing.

I think Ezra should investigate this conspiracy and coverup.

It all took place on a sound stage and was directed by Stanley Kubrick.

That's what you want us to believe so you can keep covering up the mass genocide of all the people of the moon.

Well it was either that or build a wall around the whole planet to keep them out to save the cheese industry.
