Wtf???

My mom had to have brain surgery (brain cancer runs in her family and her sister died of it so she was getting the tumour removed) and Despite being a Doctor she was traumatized. She said the system is inhumane and the side effects etc are never explained and ignored if u bring it up

Mainly about what degree of function I'm going to come out with.
The op itself would be fascinating for me too under different circumstances.
Like if I wasn't the one on the operating table, for instance.

I'm not sure what's going to happen, yet.
I'm just dumping my fears here because I'm having trouble processing them.
I know I've worsened, but I'm not sure how far they're going to let me go before operating.
They said they would prefer to operate while I still have speech this time.
