This is a Pygmy Rattlesnake in one of my flower pots.I never thought about it but it is a good place for a snake to coil up.I had been pulling up the onions in it when I noticed him.

What did you do with it? Or are you going to leave it alone?
We saw a large king snake in our backyard yesterday morning.
I let it be,it was gone the next morning.They are not as venomous as the other species.If you get bit you won't die.I saw a large rattlesnake a couple of days later but it went under the porch before I could get back and take a photo.This area is snaky,and my thought is the snakes that know me are less likely to bite me.Most snakes just want to be left alone,but if you step on one.....So I look REAL good
