Sorted out my bedroom and also fixed that chest of drawers that was falling to pieces. Cheep s**t. They might as well have been made from Papier mache

I wouldn't buy a chest of drawers from Argos if you're on a budget btw. You're better off getting a well built pre owned set from the charity shop

I've bought a load of stuff from Argos over the years and found it's usually pretty good:

Coffee table
Kettle
Microwave
Clothes rail
DAB Clock radio
DAB kitchen radio
Smart TV
Cuddly toy

So guess you've just been unlucky with your chest of drawers.

Well yeah because I've got loads of things that I've built from flat pack from Argos previously and it's pretty sturdy but the drawers themselves were flimsy

Anyway I've sorted it now with one of them big staple guns and it seems fine

Did my food shop and did a good deed handing in a wad of cash I found on the floor.

Fed seven pets, emptied and cleaned five litter bins, changed all the water bowls, disinfected everything (bowls, tables, floors), hoovered the floors upstairs and down, de-furred things with the fur rake, discovered dog pee and poop in my basement because it was raining, cleaned and sanitized that, washed the cat blankets and my pillowcases (separately), cleaned and put away the 6' kitten playpen, cleaned out the fridge, received online groceries and put them away, sorted all the recycling from the packaging and took it outside, cleaned out the front closet to sort shoes and boots we can give to charity, attempted to schedule my colonoscopy, submitted some paperwork for my son's student loan, submitted a pet insurance claim, went for a swim at my mum's and gave her something to eat, folded laundry, fed kitties again.

Now heading back out to drop my son off somewhere.

Well if we're getting into the detail then...

I got up, made my kid a packed lunch, fed the dogs, medicated the old dog, drove my kid to school, walked the young dog, helped my partner prepare for her trip away, packed up her tent for her, created a rota document for her and printed out three copies, drove my partner to her therapist, walked both dogs while she was getting treated, drove her to Tesco to get food for her trip, waved her off, watered the greenhouse, cleaned out the tortoise, picked up kid from school, cancelled a dental appointment, made dinner for kid, fed dogs, medicated old dog, drove kid to her drama school, did a food shop, picked up kid from drama school, put kid to bed.

I mean, I don't want anyone thinking I'm lazy...

The pet stuff is my daily routine so that’s nothing unusual. Takes about 90 mins. Same with seeing / helping my mother although sometimes that takes hours if she needs help to shower or I have to clean her house. I drop my kids off places all the time too since we only have one car.

I’m glad I got the paperwork done. That was big on the list.

I'm learning to roller skate but I've only been out a few times because it rains almost every day here lately

I always fall when I first set off because I'm having trouble transitioning from shoes to wheels but once I'm up and going I'm fine

But today I managed to stay on my wheels

Talked to three people on the phone (whom I talk to almost every day), went out on my bike to go to the supermarket but realized I was feeling too weak and had to turn back after two blocks. Watched British crime dramas in bed. Life with ME/CFS (chronic fatigue).

Well you just take it easy bee33

I've been working all day so not much to report there but I'm just relaxing now and there's some kind of documentary on about English people who live in Spain. It's about as exciting as it sounds

Scheduled my colonoscopy and gastroscopy appointment.
I don't mind doing them but hate the taste of the prep drink on a waterlogged stomach.

Reminder for others to have them.
They save lives.
