Amnesia/memory problems are admittedly common in my books. I'm not sure what to do about it.

it's also a photo of my muse's house, coincidentally.

it's a bit more blue irl than it is in my avatar pic but i still really dig it.

Out of seven books in my first series, almost ten characters have either amnesia or memory issues.

How important is the amnesia to the plot , if it's important then no worries , if it's not important to the plot but it' what you like then no worries , if it is really an issue think of a different ailment , I dunno , I'm not a writer , ignore my blah blah blah's

Most of the amnesia is important to the plot, since there's a lot of reincarnation in my books.

Amnesia is a frequent technique used when an author believes that the overall story is becoming stale.

It provides an excuse to introduce new elements to the story.
