I'm sure my daughter just enjoys the feel of the hairdryer blowing on her rather than for what it's actually intended for

If a common misconception that is seen by many to be a fact is called a "factoid", is a common fact that is seen by many as an opinion called an "opinionoid"?

For example:

Factoid:The modern image of Santa Claus as a fat, jolly old man in a red and white suit was created by Coca-Cola company as an advertising gimmick.

Opinionoid: The fat, jolly version of Santa had already taken on such form in American pop culture by the late 19th century, years before Coca-Cola started using him in their ads in the 1930s.

Why does Walker's use the Lay's logo?

Both brands have the same owner, although that by itself doesn't explain it.

I tried to find out who had the logo first but got conflicting answers.

Founder's last name.

Quote:
In 1932, salesman Herman Lay opened a snack food operation in Nashville, Tennessee. In 1938, he purchased the Atlanta, Georgia-based potato manufacturer "Barrett Food Company", renaming it "H.W. Lay Lingo & Company". Lay crisscrossed the southern United States, selling the product from the trunk of his car.

Because knowing is half the battle.

The other half is overwhelming violence.

I asked a vendor at the flea market to make me a sign that says 1965. He said he will make me one for free.

So I wonder where Walkers came from then

I'm just trying to get through a really difficult year. Even though I'm trans. It's not because of politics. It's because of family issues and other crazy s**t.
