At the university where I used to work we had tons of false alarms. There was some problem with the alarm system being too sensitive. Crying wolf without cause costs lives.

The other issue is that we're increasingly able to fully disconnect ourselves from reality and that enables situations like this. 30 years ago people would've just left because you can't sleep while the alarm is going off, but now we can just put on our headphones and ignore it. On a regular basis I collide with people who are walking while on their phones and have no awareness of the outside world. So in addition to crying wolf, disconnecting from reality whenever reality is inconvenient also costs lives.

If I'm becoming more alexithymic, good.
All I need now is retrain crappy habits out of me.

The reactivity over everyday emotions, the lack of recallection, the complacency because of some fricking feeling. Any lingering habits of my "past life".

If I can get rid of game addiction and maladaptive daydreaming, I can very much change myself further.

I had my 6 cups of water today. Tea is flavoured water and I was drinking out of a 16 ounce cup.

I had an odd dream last night where i was in a grocery store looking at Kool-aid flavors…
What the heck would “Birthday” flavored Kool-aid be

Another part of the dream, i got caught shoplifting a 20-pack of hotdogs and had to pay 17 bucks for them

Because I misread it as shoplifting 20 packs of hotdogs and thought "that was so cheap" and "what was your dream self thinking?!" :lol:

I had a wisdom tooth removed at Trafford General Hospital on Saturday. It wasn't as bad an experience as I'd been anticipating, but I can't really eat properly for a few days (mainly liquids) and I'm waiting for the swelling to go down.
