Well congratulate yourself for only nearly doing it, Mr Kip.

You saved yourself a whole host of distress (and perhaps others?)

Your wisdom prevailed. Yay.

I used to have the local park all to myself. Now that the weather is getting warm all sorts of seedy people are occupying it (drunks, hookers, politicians, etc.). :(

That last bit gave me a good laugh. Yeah that's the advantage of inclement months, having parks to yourself.

I had a good long talk with my son’s Personal Support worker (we finally got one! Only fr 3 days a week fr an hour but better than just me on my own!)
She just kept talking n talking like she needed to tell me ..

She is from my original country except her culture is Punjabi mine isn’t..

n basically she has been separated from her H (his wish( fr decades but her family doesn’t know.

Only she n her kids know.
He doesn’t live with them but if her family visits he comes n they pretend everything is fine
If her mom calls she pretends everything is fine
Etc
Because the family and culture is against divorce n wd blame her

He doesn’t give support etc except recently.. she has 4 kids she had to provide fr

I was like Damn.. some ppl have it so bad .. i’m Glad I’m not Punjabi .. i can’t believe I complain so much when at least my family supported me ...
I got a lawyer, a place to live, etc
Gah

Nope, I ate only potatos :P It was some insect that in flight looked exactly like a fairy. I don't know anything about insects so I can't give its proper name (maybe someone here knows it?), but it definitely was real.

I wish I had seen it :(

I’m probably the luckiest from all the cultures in that land I cd have been born into.. I got the nicest one to women.

Still backwards in some things but not like Pathan, Punjabi, etc.

Hello, all.

I keep procrastinating about writing. It's rather odd. I rarely procrastinate at all--when there's something to be done, I try to get it done as quickly as possible.

You've never come across that way. I've often wondered at your posts how you do it all (painting, gardening, etc). Maybe you're a clever crypto-crastinator
