 I loved The Book Thief!!

Books I read in school (besides my Top 5 list) that I loved:

Shirley (C. Brontë)
Tess of the D'Urbevilles (Hardy)
Far From the Madding Crowd (Hardy)
Silas Marner (Eliot)
The Mill on the Floss (Eliot)
Vanity Fair (Thackeray)
Great Expectations (Dickens)
Ruth (Gaskell)

I studied 19th century British Lit., so obviously I like them all :)

Did you read A Tale of Two Cities?

I was going to study British lit and my grand-parents who are doctors made me go into Biology which was second on my list. I wanted to do a minor in literature but I went in a whole other direction. Not medicine.

Anyway yes I read the tale of two cities.

Did you read to kill a mocking bird?

I'm sorry you were dissuaded from studying Brit Lit even as a minor, but hope you can continue enjoying the literature on your own if you enjoy it. Yes, I've read Mockingbird! It was incredible as was the movie. Have you read Go Set a Watchman? It was Harper Lee's second novel, and released in controversy a couple of years ago. It wasn't so great. Atticus was a prig.

Not willingly, but I do have pretty severe echolalia so I can imitate animals, sound effects and musical instruments.

Yes, I have echoalia as well, though I can mimic some accents, I'm no expert at such. Do you enjoy listening to the sounds of nature from time to time?

Yes, I enjoy it a lot. Rain, waterfalls, thunderstorms, birdsong, you name it.

How old were you when you first went camping?

Yes, I used to have a cd that had all sorts of sounds pertaining to various natural environments. Do you have a large list of people of whom you email on a fairly consistent basis?

Camping in a tent in my garden: 9
"Easy" camping at a prepared campground: Maybe 16.
Rough camping on a remote island with no land access, people or amenities, complete with wild animals, hand-built fire, forging my own food and avoiding lightning: 30

Email: Other than business mail I don't really email anyone. Perhaps my brother sometimes if I have to send a photo because he doesn't have FB. Everyone else I use FB Messenger, but I only have 12 friends on FB and I seldom speak to most of them.

Do you use Instagram? (I don't) (I don't really know what it is)

To a certain degree, yes I believe in evolution. I don't necessarily believe in creationism as an alternative, I just haven't determined what I think of it all.
