Silent Hill is great but depresses me, good games and I have won 1-4 but they depress me none the least. I don't know why, its not the blood and gore or horror aspect but rather, the games come across as isolating for a descriptive word, particularly Silent Hill 2. Everything is so bleak with no hope, the characters themselves even seem bleak. Heather from Silent Hill 3 nightmare / intro just captured the feeling of impeding doom in her eyes alone. Not to mention certain character death that I won't spoiler. Anyway I don't have any of the games anymore and they are expensive but I probably don't need to play something that depresses me anyway. They are good games though for anyone who wants a survival horror.
