It is already slowly happening, but physical mediums will always be a thing. I collected video games, and owning over 2000, it does get a bit much, having a small 3 bedroom house. It might look nice and feel nice, but it's a lot to manage.

perhaps, but there are still some films that have never been released to dvd nor blu-ray and never sure when that will ever happen.

Have you owned things of the past that are now worth something on the open market, such as toys or other such items?

Apart from Nintendo Power comics and a couple Cabbage Patch dolls from my grandmother, not really.

Do you ever find, in books or movies or tv shows, how the characters supposed to be heroes act like anything but heroes?
