Not to downplay your issue or anything, but looking on the bright side - low blood pressure tends to be healthier than higher or high blood pressure.

^ Isn't that something slightly different? Orthostatic hypotension, I think is the term.

Not all people with low blood pressure experience that I don't think?

I would get more salt into your diet and maybe have a few alcoholic drinks now and then. Maybe try to put on a bit of weight.

I always thought it was low bp
I've never been to the doctor's about it because I've always had it since I was a kid

My stepmother told me (when I was 13) that it's because I smoke

Orthostatic hypotension is conditional upon having low BP whilst going from sitting down to standing up, I meant that not everyone with low blood pressure also has orthostatic hypotension.

Lol those with high blood pressure used to say that to me. But as babybird said, it's very annoying. Once I slipped and fell while carrying coffee and needless to say, coffee ended up everywhere. It's hard to focus or orient in space.

Thanks, I've not tried alcohol just yet (in that context).

And why my exercise bike tells me the wattage of my cycling I'll never know

It adds absolutely zilch to my quality of life

I mean would I be able to power my flat off it if I hooked it up to the lights...no

The biggest difficulty in my life is that everything is designed with the assumption that you already know everything. I don't just need a book of social rules, I need a book of everything. The first time I went to a restaurant without my parents, they had to walk me through how the bill works and how you sign for it and leave the tip and everything, nothing about it was at all intuitive, but they just expect you to know how it works. Today I tried to buy a stapler and a box of staples, but they told me they weren't compatible--well they should've f**king made that clear, shouldn't they. Nowhere on the stapler did it say what kind of staples it would need, but apparently everyone has to be an expert on staplers in order to live life. If you compiled a book on all the things I've ever been expected to know that I haven't, it would probably break your back, and yet everyone is supposed to instinctively know all those things, and even weirder, it seems like most people do instinctively know them, or have exclusive access to the secret database of how the world works.
