Ok. -- I have never been warned by any moderator for adding Finnish or Norwegian words into the midst of my English messages. I am not trying to change the official language into any other. I am satisfied with the current praxis.

OK, now you have been warned for NOT adding any Finnish or Norwegian words into the midst of your English messages. Perkele!

Are the words with the Hebrew characters Yiddish?

Yiddish is, basically, Middle High German written in Hebrew letters.

I hope that there's someone else "out there" who knows the answer. I haven't a clue. What a mystery! Being unpopular AND ignorant seems like some sort of contradiction.

עברית. לא יידיש.

and i screwed up my last post with the blending of left-right and right-left characters (it's finicky), it was meant to be read like:

אנחנו
צריכים
לדבר
deutsch
!כאן

:D

yeah, yiddish is basically high middle german, but with a hebrew set of vocab for religious/liturgical use. ladino spoken by mainly sephardic jews is derived from spanish languages and also uses the hebrew alphabet. both have a "shallower" orthography than hebrew. is this unpopular enough?

i may have become unpopular to my team by scoring last or near last in the 200M dash today.

Ah! Good! Now that's sorted we can back to unpopularityness.

Can a popular member of the "unpopular club" remain "bona fide" unpopular?

(Now, I've not paid anyone for their response to this question, so, maybe, it is invalid.)

There may be lurkers "out there" who are too afraid of being unpopular that they daren't risk being unpopular. A strange notion. Anyhow, I suggest a plebiscite designed to eliminate popular members of the unpopular member's club.

I'm realizing I'm just as irritating to my fellow aspies as to the NT's in my life (not on purpose). I think this is why I avoid social situations:) I blame it on my IPD (Irritating Personality Disorder). I hope I'll be welcome here. Thank you, OP, for creating this thread.

I was one of the original unpopular members of this thread when it initially started..

Theoretically, the only way to be welcome here is to be unwelcome. (Or pay Krafty a hefty bribe). The only way to be popular here is to be unpopular... and the only way to be unpopular is to be popular.

(Go for the bribe option... it's easier).

To be Popular on the Unpopular Thread is Paradoxical.

I am Unpopular on the Unpopular thread....therefore, I'm right at home
