Are you not tired of saying the same things on here and not getting the response you want?

Sometimes you sound like you are exhausted of everything.

Like you are all out of ideas.

What would you say to me if I was in the same position as you? What advice would you give me?

(Leaving this life is not an acceptable answer - not allowed here I am afraid)

I've tried the things people do that they say helps make life better but I always get dead ends and unbreakable obstacles. I am almost 30 and if nothing has been good for nearly 30 years, when will it ever be?

The trouble with you, Mark, is that you don't consciously look at the good aspects of your life. You let the bad dominate.

We could be back to the earlier conversation on here about teaching an old dog new tricks, meaning it is difficult if someone has a rigid mindset rather than age being a problem.

You have tried the things that other people do and it hasn't worked yet - but is that not because it is their solution and is right for them? Could it be that your own way forward is inside you rather than outside of you?

I was told to go jogging to help my depression but this would have probably killed me off with my heart problem. So the reason I asked you to advise me as if I were you in your position is because you would more likely find some answers that fit you.

Instead of looking outside, perhaps you could look inside. Yes dead ends happen all the time. These are there to challenge us and keep us interested and raise our emotions.

When you talk about certain things you have come up against and survived I see a strong man coping with life albeit a depressed one. You also seem to get somewhere when you make your own insights into things such as when you realised your brother has troubles and it helped to grow your relationship with him. This was all movement in the direction you are looking for but you rarely give yourself the credit Mark.

You still haven't given me my advice yet?

Isn’t patronize a strange word?

It doesn't work properly, heart failure, or left ventricular hypertrophy or enlarged heart.

A recent diagnosis I had to get my head around along with the ASD.

2 surprises within about 1 year.

I think so but I try not to let it dominate - hence why I am pretty happy to wake up every day.

It interferes with a lot of things I would like to do so I have to be content with what I can do or just rest.

My lack of energy is probably the worst thing.

Kitty hugs from me and Boo, then. :cat: I've been trying to develop a new philosophy: live each day like it's the best day ever. How's that sound?

I think that is a beautiful philosophy and thanks for the hugs.

Why wait for life to throw you a curve ball?

But I am also aware that we all have our difficulties on here.

I have always enjoyed hearing your perspective Kura.

(I sometimes wonder if your wisdom from a previous life was carried forward) :D

I've been wondering that a lot, too. How about that. :jester:

Well, you know, most of my books feature a lot of reincarnation.

The first book of my new series features a bunch of anthropormorphic personifications. One of them might be Grace. Since my name means graceful [or flower, depending on the language], I might make it look like me.
