sinking into melancholia - the cure-be's are really getting to me - I keep thinking about pre natal intervention and logging the ASDs by their gene defects (their words) and treating the same - by eradication (c f eugenics)?

But maybe I've misunderstood entirely and can be corrected/pacified.

Hmm. Last time I checked (although it has been awhile), there is no entirely accurate way to predict ASDs. Did I miss something?

I'm yawning. Sleepy now.

Right now i am sat on my bed eating FOUR crumpets with lashings of butter AND nutella and watching 'apocalypse now' which does not finish till 3am so i will be knackered tomorrow....

When i have finished eating my CRUMPETS i will be writing in my journal, as i do most nights but this particular night i think i will have plenty to write. I am in one of my FUNNY/STRANGE moods and i always write lots then...... 8O LOL

When i have finished writing in my journal i will write a list of EVERYTHING i want to do tomorrow, i have lots of energy tonight and hopefully i will still have it tomorrow so i should take advantage of that fact....

I have now finished my CRUMPETS (yum yum) :D

Time to write my JOURNAL.....

To RainSong (beautiful title by the way); the Cure Autism Now lot (American) and its UK sidekick Autism Speaks are pumping $/£Millions into research with the avowed aim of - sorry, obviously - curing Autism - that is their goal anyway.

Anyway, I wish you - NightNight Pleasant Dreams

Thanks. :)

And I see what you mean. I would not worry about it too much, as they seem to be getting themselves no where fast. If anything, they appear to be pushing themselves backward. The possibility of them actually discovering a "cure" is slim. And if they did, they could never make it manadatory without the legal equivalent of heck. Too many high functioning (and low functioning as well) aspies/auties are against a cure. As it is, they've managed to put themselves at odds with some aspie/autie parents because of the videos they've circulated. They're chasing their tails.

Good night. I hope you sleep well.
