Emily Jane, indeed. Also Isabella :), Lucie (french) (Villette) and Ellen (WH and Gone with the Wind). Kate is pretty but not Katie, and I prefer the spelling of Catherine with a C, so they don't quite match. My issue is that every name has a colour. I don't just go by the sound of names.

Magna,
I knew a girl who was named Sloane after the character. She's stunningly beautiful like the actress was, so I have a nice association with that.

Pesto: depends on the chef or who makes it. Usually.

Do you like biographies?

This is so random, but my brothers girlfriends name is Catherine and she goes by Katie. Just saying.

I typically do not like biographies as I find them boring. However, I do like certain autobiographies like memoirs. And I enjoy reading about the lives of horses (like the story of Secretariat for example) which is kinda like an animal biography.

Have you ever tried Southern food? (Grits, sweet tea, biscuits and gravy, hushpuppies, gumbo, Brunswick stew, fried chicken and waffles, fried green tomatoes, banana pudding, chicken pot pie, etc) If you did, what was it and did you like it?

The Wallace Line separates Australian species like kangaroos from “regular” species like tigers.

If a Homo erectus of the opposite sex flirted with you, would you reciprocate?

Interesting question, but I'm married so even if a homo sapiens female generally regarded as the quintessence of beauty were to flirt with me I would not reciprocate.

How many fillings do you have?

Hi Korts!
LMAO. You're too funny! I suppose it would depend on the homo and the erectus. 8)
Honestly though, I don't understand the kangaroo thing. Who drew the line? From whence do okapi derive? What happens if a tiger crosses the road? You explained it but I can't remember. You should be a teacher.

ummmm..... same question Kortie?

Fillings? Dental? None. But I had my wisdom teeth removed. Explains a lot about me, apparently 8)

Did you take Psych 101?

I did take Psych 101 and found it interesting but it was so many years ago I remember almost nothing from it.

I have only one filling so you and I are pretty close to tied. I had no fillings until around the age of 40 and was proud of the streak. I actually didn't believe the dentist I went to that said I had a cavity and I think I was unmistakably upset about the news.....

When was the last time you stayed up all night?

It's dawn. I stay up all night every night. :)

The last time I stayed up all day and night was probably two weeks ago from insomnia.
The last time I stayed up because of doing something fun or studying (which ironically was fun), was maybe 20 years

same q

When I had to pull an all-nighter in the early 2000s after erasing my final English paper for (I believe) my Medieval English literature class. I can’t remember whether I had a separate Chaucer class, or was Chaucer incorporated into Medieval Literature.

Same question.

Staying up all day and all night was probably 14 years ago on the one and only trip to Maui I took with my wife. From the time we left our home to the time we went to sleep on the island due to the airline delays, flights, etc, was around 26 hours.

Kortie,
Oh! That's awful! I would have fainted! I'm glad in that respect that my Uni work was done on typewriter, because nothing got lost that way.

Magna,
That sounds like a gruelling flight!
Actually, I'd likely pick white rice but they are all nice.

Have you ever been in a physical fight?

Have you ever been in a car accident?

Once. I was hit by a dog shelter truck and I went crazy worrying about the dogs.

Do you like The Rolling Stones?

Yes! I still have mine. I love the song Little T & A (blushes). It's a fun song. I saw the Stones live but they didn't play it!! !
I couldn't believe it!!

Perhaps I will see them again somewhere and get to hear it.

Have you been to Vancouver?

PEI - No, but it looks beautiful.

Chaucer? Did someone say Chaucer? :P
I reinterpreted several passages of The Pardoner's Tale for fun, and amazed my Prof. She wanted to publish it.

Did any of you study Linguistics?
