I have been. To take an Hawaiian cruise.

There are nice parks there.

How about Toronto?

Never been to PEI.

I studied a little Linguistics.

Toronto, yes. I actually took a summer session class at U of T in 1989 on transfer.

I have an Undergrad Minor in Linguistics. I remember the schwa (how to type the symbol?) and the fricative.

Have you been to Tokyo?

You also studied phonetics.

Do you call the doctor’ office “the surgery”?

How did you know I studied phonetics? :chin:

Yes, a doctor's office is called a surgery.

I'm signing off now folks. I plan not to be online tomorrow (lol) so that I can read.
Feel free to contact me in case of linguistic or British Victorian Literature emergencies.

Just consider it "Isabella Linton's Day Off" from the internet, in Ferris Bueller style. :study:

Ciao!

No, although with the surgeries coming for me, I might as well.

Do you enjoy amusement parks?

I just know the basics. I can do more advanced settings if I have really good step by step instructions with visuals.

Same question.

Wish I could answer that question but I am not very good with computers and it feels a bit frustrating. So my favorite program would be what ever it is that makes me able to do the things I regularly do on my computer...

Same question

Fricatives and Schwa are phonetic terms.

I suck at computers.

The old buildings, the quaint setting, the woods, the river, the sea.

That there is a nature preserve not far from where I live, if only more natural places existed though.

Do you have regular calendar or a desk calendar?
