There used to be a myth that people with long ears lived longer, based on the fact that very old people tend to have long ears, but all it turned out to be was that as you get older, your ears tend to get longer. So long ears means that either you're old, or you're a wabbit.

Red ears might mean that somebody's just given you a belt round the lugholes.

There might be some gender variations. I suspect that women have smaller ears than men, but I haven't checked.

I'm starting to believe that every person is in their own unique individualised reality where the universe can work in very different ways than others in similar situations.
