I confess that I often feel the same, when I went to my grand-dads I just saw him and felt empty. But I know I loved him and I miss him and thats enough to know that I cared about him. As for understanding it I think everyone finds their own meaning, I hope you find it too

I confess....I really wish I could explain it to you. I have a very hard time dealing with, and understanding death, myself. I had 1 of my 3 best friends pass away a couple months ago. I was numb for weeks. All I can tell you is, time will heal your wounds. Best wishes.

I confess it isn't something that is easy to deal with. I have dealt with death many times in the past six years. There is no true way to prepare for it but you can take comfort in the fact that you have your family to lean on when the time comes. You also have us on WP to lean on too. All you can do is send as much time with them as you can. It will make you both happy and will make things easier for them.

I confess this photo made my stomach churn... still traumatized by the sight of certain foods after getting sick all night recently .
