My father taught me how to knit. I have taught many young boys to knit. My mother had no interest and says it's a waste of time.

I remember your wool allergy. I crochet as well and have made a couple of blankets because crochet is much faster than knitting, but you can't take your eyes off it like knitting. Both gets my arms hurting eventually.

oops I am a couple of questions behind due to eating dinner while typing.

I enjoy drawing and painting using computer, writing, writing poetry, knitting etc want to learn how to make felt hats but that would add to more supplies in my limited space, photography, the list goes on. Not particulary good at any of it but enjoy the creative process.
