Yes, if it's not too hot and so forth.

Have you ever had any skin problems temporary or permnent ones that you deal with?

Outside: Yes, especially at or after sunset. It feels liberating.

Skin: I'm allergic to lanolin (in most paraffin and paraben products) but I do love / need a thick emollient

I've been having skin problems probably due to the pollens and so forth, for this never seems to occure during the winter.I can't wait to be able to move to a place where I shan't be burdened with this crap.

When was the intitial time you had learned about Autism including Aspergers?

I learned about it as it relates to little boys, around 1995. I made absolutely no connection based on that information. Female autism is quite different, and I didn't learn about that until about 18 months ago.

My own diagnosis as moderate ASD (with several comorbid conditions) was in April 2018.

I learned about autism at the time through the movie,"Rain Man" but, that's completely inaccurate as the person whom the movie was based on was never autistic in the first place and wrongfully identified as such.
I was given a formal diagnosis of Asperger(British accent exhibited) around 2004 and have done my best to remain human & honorable as a person as possible.

What helps you in times of stress?

I saw Rain Man as well (during its initial release), and I had no idea that it related to me at all.
You are a very honourable person, Kaz! Asperger wouldn't preclude that because you are a kind soul.

Stress:
I have shutdowns, in which I may appear to pull away or go quiet while I ruminate about the situation. I have selective mutism and alexithymia which affect my speech in times of stress, but they can also affect my writing if I don't know what to write or how to say it. In worst case stress (trauma), I shut down my senses and cognition completely, and dissociate or experience derealization. I have had more than one autistic breakdown and the current one hasn't fully resolved since 2014.

I knew about autism around the late 60s. I knew a kid who had classic, nonverbal autism. I heard it referred to as such. I was “brain-injured.” Later, I found out I was diagnosed with autism in the mid 60s.

I saw a public-service ad about autism around 1970.

I’ve been known to both shut down and melt down. Sometimes, in public.

Same question

I forgot to mention, yes I've had some pretty grand meltdowns too. I've learned to understand myself and to know when they're coming, so I don't have to hate myself afterward.

When was your last major meltdown?

last meltodown was 2 years ago, when I thought I lost my luggage on my way back home from an inter-connecting flight homewards.

Do you enjoy doing sing alongs while listening to your favorite songs?

Yes, I sing along even when I don't hear the song playing.
I've been singing "My Baby Does the Hanky Panky" over and over for three weeks since I heard it in a film. (LOL)
I think it's a form of echolalia.

I love to make up funny lyrics as I go along. I can invent rhythm and rhyme while I'm singing. My dog hears funny serenades involving his name, every single day. (I should have really worked for Sesame Street).

Yes, I tend to do it when I'm wlking by myself as, it would appear strange for me to do it in a wider social scenario.

Do you have a sense of artistic expression without being able to draw, paint, or other?

Very much so. I am completely baffled by double negatives (example, on multiple choice) and I can't figure out what they mean. I also have black and white thinking in most moral situations and questions, so at times it is hard to see the grey area -- even though I live in the grey area of alexithymia. I've been compared to Meredith Grey from Grey's because I have established moral opinions but I'm also very sensitive and contemplative.

Yes, there are questions that I'm not fond of those being one relating to friendship/relationships as, I've done horrible in those areas so, I tend to shy away from them but, choose to respond to such inquiries in an honorable manner.

Do you try to have some sort of contact with people email wise, even if your not super good at it?

Not email as much as Facebook messenger, but I only have a handful of relatives or acquaintances on my FB. I have to keep myself very safe as my entire identity was stolen for many years.
