I agree. I am not passive-aggressive either. I have Complex Trauma Disorder and Mutism which, by definition, cause me to withdraw while I process emotions. I never intend to hurt others by doing so and there is no ulterior motive on my part when this occurs. It is a coping mechanism and one I'm not ashamed to experience, especially on WP where others also experience trauma.

Are you excited that it's autumn?

yes

Do you sometimes feel torn between what you would like and what is possible?

Sometimes, but I'm quite content with 'what is possible' at this point in my life. Simple things are most important.

I know that I've over done with stating how I wish to relocate/move as, but really wish to live in another place, away from things & people that have made my life less than serene.

Do you enjoy doing things out of the ordinary as seen from a NT perspective?

You have not 'overdone' it, kazanscube! It's OK to express how you feel even if that means repeating what is important to you. I sincerely hope you find a means and way to relocate to somewhere that makes you feel happy. I'm sure it will be possible for you when the timing is right. (HUGS).

Yes, I do non-NT things like being quite reclusive, stimming, reading the same books hundreds of times and following routines.

I am a bit unsure about how to define "NT-perspective" It is not that I like to do unusual things but I like to follow my heart and some of the things I like haven`t been very common where I have lived. It took me some time to find the communities that do some of the things I am interested of. It meant a lot to me to discover that I wasn`t alone with my fascinations. It was only then I started to make medieval clothes for example. I had wanted to know how it felt like to wear such clothes, how they would look like in real life etc...so much I was curious of but thought it would only make me seem even stranger to the people around me if I started sewing medieval clothing. Today I do more of what I like without thinking so much what other people will think.

Ms. Berg,
That's fascinating! You make medieval clothes? I wish you could post photos but if you aren't comfortable with that, just know that I'm very impressed. You must be very skilled. How do the clothes feel? Do you wear them frequently? WOW. That's so incredible. I'd love a riding habit and bonnet grec if I were to construct clothes. I love Victorian gowns and pinafores. I'm proud of you for following your heart.

Isabella

Did you ever cross dates off a calendar when waiting for something?

Yes, I did when I was a child often waiting for something to arrive the post..

Are there things or people you often find great reverence for or solace in?

Yes I do. My best friend whom I knew at school was someone I could trust and turn to if ever I needed to. I think she felt that she could trust me as well. We were so close that before she died I felt that we were more like sisters.

Do you have a treasured item?

My trauma psychologist is my greatest source of solace. He just phoned me and I nearly burst into tears because I had missed him so much. (He has been out of the country for quite some time, and that's the longest we've ever gone without verbal communication beyond texts).

I also find solace in my books and my poetry, or the lives of great writers.

Treasured item: My early edition books, my father's watch, my duck necklace and lots of home movies (35 mm) from when I was a child.

I'm sorry about your friend, Sunshine Emma :( . My condolences.

I tend to take reverence and solace in Native American history and music as, often it reminds me of simpler times within my own life as well, I'm often taken back to a time when there were people whom, I was close to before unpleasantness you could say..

Ever had people in your life seemingly try to derail you or tell you that your choices are meaningless?

Yes there are. I find it mostly in books and people who lived before me. I have been surprised when I was young to see that people living long before me were thinking of the same issues as myself. Made me only more interested in reading.

Thank you Isabella! I am only an amateur with a passion so there are plenty of people more skilled than me. But it is a fascination I`ve got. I have been making "every day" clothes from the medieval era, like the ones ordinary people would have worn while working and have yet to make a dress that would be suited for a lady of the nobility. But I hope to do that one day. I made both a dress but also males clothes.

Also very sorry to hear about your loss SunshineEmma!

Oh I am so slow ..I need to look up words and it takes time.

Yes I have had that happen to me mostly by family who did it with the intentions of being helpful.

Thank you Mrs Berg and Isabella

Also Isabella I love how you make your own clothes, that sounds like a lot of fun. If I could do that I would make myself a Victorian dress, or an Elsa dress

When I was singing at parties and pubs, etc, a lot of people said it was a bad idea and tried to convince me to stop. To a degree they were right, it was too much and made my anxiety much worse. I'm hoping to return to it again if I get my life back together. I'm nearly 22 and this time next year I would like to be singing again.

Do you have anything important coming up?

Do something involving the repair or assembly of computer systems.

Do you like non traditional music genres?. Currently listening to music involving a piano though of a non orchestral or classic nature.
