It's nuts that people at 40 years old in the olden days looked older than 60 year olds look these days

this is my own personal opinion based on my own personal observations and therefore is not proven fact

It's probably because everyone smoked back then.

I think stress is a big factor too.

I think so in some ways, even if there's some sources of stress that weren't around yet.

There were higher rates of severe poverty and food uncertainty was more common, so for the people living in those circumstances it would make sense that they'd be stressed.

^The way things are going, if there ever was a stress-free era, it'll soon be over.

Hang on in there girl. It'll get better.

Yeah, but probably not fully, until 2026 at least. At least then, I can do more to numb the pain and I have more money. My grandpa dying this March and stress about my family's vehicles are just two reasons why 2025 is the worst year I've ever had.

Hope things get better, I can relate to the feeling of a worst year. Its only been a few days since the anniversary of my worst day. I can't say that growing numb solves anything. Not feeling a problem doesn't solve it and feeling itself is not a problem.

Fair enough.

I think you've gotta keep going back to a place to fully appreciate and enjoy it

Like I couldn't got to somewhere like China or Nepal only once because you can't understand a place in one visit and I like to understand places

It doesn't seem to sound right phonetically to shorten it to Urs and I'm not familiar enough with the name to think of any alternatives.

Are you thinking of the username of the member Ursula here, by the way?

I refuse to believe that you know a real life Ursula.
