lately I've been having "laugh-in" style dreams in that while not humorous, they involved quasi "black-out" style sketches lasting a few moments of dream-time, before suddenly moving onto the next tableau. each scene is different in subject and style.

your size is a good size because it means things are easier physically for you. being tall is harder, especially as one grows older.

Thank you. :) But it's not always easier, try reaching the top shelf at the store! :)

The night before last I had a very uncomfortable dream where I was on a big cruise ship with my mom. We were still at the dock, but there was a a lot of people hanging around and doing stuff, and then my mom disappeared and I was wandering all over the ship trying to find her, but I couldn't. I had no place to stay in or rest, and people seemed to ignore me completely. One really disturbing thing I saw was a baby floating in a pool right-side up while everyone else was swimming around and not taking any notice. later I saw the baby lying in the bottom of the pool and still no one else noticed.

I then tried to make myself either take control of the dream or wake up. When I couldn't wake up I got a weird idea. I believed I was in this dream because of the brand of milk I usually drink, so if I drank some of a completely different brand the dream would end with me finding my mom. So I went to a fridge - in my dream - found an unusual-looking carton of milk and drank some. I soon found my mother who was on the dock, not even on the ship. Very Freudian with the milk-mother thing.

I had the strangest dream, was back at work in the hospital, but it was the present day except for one person out of the past... it was change of shift and I was hurriedly double-checking the stocking and equipment, when in one of the rooms I came across a weird medical object i'd never seen before- it was bulky and red, consisting of a baby transporter and a giant red tank called a "bulldog" that was making weird hissing sounds so I double-checked the meter on it, to make sure it was installed properly, and I found that somebody had carelessly mounted the meter without screwing it on all the way so whatever gasses were inside it were hissing out, so I tightened the meter only to find it suddenly started hissing out ice-cold liquid onto my hands - so frightened, I left the room and went into another room where nurses were hurriedly entering their shift notes on computer terminals, and I asked one of them about it and they told me they were too busy to help, then I spotted the late novelist phillip k. dick in scrubs with a stethoscope around his neck, he was a doctor in my dream! he asked me what was the problem, and he came into the room and I showed him the malfunctioning device, and he fiddled with it, then it exploded and we all died.
weird dream, no?

^^^^^^^^^
Faceless
To see a faceless figure or person in your dream indicates that you are still searching for your own identity and finding out who you are. Perhaps you are unsure of how to read people and their emotions. Therefore, you are expressing a desire to know and understand these people on a deeper level. Dreaming of a blurry or blank face means that you have no sense of who this person really are. Your subconscious is telling you not to trust this person. You may be being deceived.

thats actually really fascinating, and sounds strangely accurate, weirdly so, I wonder who my brain is telling me not to trust then...

^^^^^it may be telling you to look before you leap, or trust but verify, in general, with people and situations.

^^^ the irish have a better phrase for that- "trust everybody but cut the cards." in any case, I took an afternoon nap and dreamt that I was watching a police training PSA on a wall-sized tv set, about 50 cops were crammed into a 2-car garage that had two cars parked in it, so they were pretty close together, and in their black uniforms with full battle rattle reminded me of a bunch of squirming black ants. they were doing some intense quasi-battle-type physical moves, one on one, and it got pretty violent to the point where the broadcaster blacked the video and all you heard was some panting, grunting and body-slamming. then as I drifted into a twilight reverie I had a distinct dream image of myself in a future lifetime, a cop myself, married to another cop, we were both rugged and compact, in perfect physical shape, mentally and psychologically sound, with children together, and we were happy, and in the dream a voice-over said that I was building the foundations for that future lifetime in this lifetime at present. my wife in that dream had reddish-brown hair just down to her collar, like a longish pixie, and I looked a bit like a brown-haired version of the actor matt damon as he appeared in the martian, very wiry.
