Except for school I once participated in a marking of the international women`s day by an organization that promoted culture and was called The International Center. I was with a dance group. Many years ago now..

Well, I remember taking part in a Greek festival where I had to learn how to make Gyros..

Do you find beauty in many things that are not normally applicable by NT perspectives?

I tend to be moved by so many things and to me beauty is a lot about existence and what`s inherent in the tings I see. How things function and it`s place. I don`t know how to explain... Natures invention you may say. Or the complexities of life/things. Also when it comes to human life.
But perhaps I do? I am not sure. I don`t know what other people think about beauty. I know there are things commonly considered beautiful that doesn`t appeal to me very much.

I think that there is greater beauty in Nature as, it's not made up or manipulated as such.

Do you tend to be philosophic in conversations at times?

Yes, as I feel that the Babylonians, were not the oldest ancient civilization known to man as, we continue to dig & explore much will be discovered.

Do you like paperback or hardback books?

Over 1,000 pages-two books by Dostoyevsky. They took a long time for me to read, but they were pretty interesting. I got interested in Dostoyevsky because one of my favorite tennis players at the time, Janko Tipsarevic, talked about reading Dostoyevsky.

Same q.

I read "War and Peace," which is about 1,400-1,500 pages long. It's not "deep" reading at all. It's an elaborate soap opera with many interesting and literary elements. About 100 pages, though, is devoted to the mechanics of the war machines of the Napoleonic Period (e.g., cannons, mortars, etc.). It's not an inaccessible work, though, for the most part.

"Anna Karenina" is of similar length.

Has anybody ever read a book of at least 500 pages in one day?

I once read a biography of Peter the Great, which was about 800 pages in length, in one day. That was in early 1982, in my first apartment in Briarwood, Queens. It was raining, and I liked the view of my fire escape, somehow. I was with my then-fiancée, who read some book as well. We didn't say a word to each other all day; and we didn't have to.

Are you familiar with fire escapes?
