I hope Hot Wheels does an R31 Skyline soon. They've got the C10, C110, C210, R30, R32, R33 and R34 models, so it's kind of a gaping hole in the lineup.

Just a reminder: under international law, an occupying power has no right of self-defense, and those who are occupied have the right and duty to liberate themselves by any means possible.

I wonder which case they're on... not that I'd be able to pick any up. Aldi's a bit of a swim for me.

I'd be pretty disappointed if someone said they got me a C5 and it was that instead of a Corvette.

I thought Hot Wheels were Aldi's knockoff of Wagon Wheels till I looked them up. They're not, they're a knockoff of Matchbox Series.

MBX usually does things boring and stock, HW usually does customized versions. Under Mattel's ownership I find most MBX castings look kinda cheap next to HW castings too.

Let me know when they've got Micro Machines. I loved them.

We like what we like, and I'm sure nostalgia is a factor too. Recently HW has been doing the sorts of cars I grew up liking, so that's big points in their favour. MBX doesn't really do race cars anymore, and never really did custom cars, so that makes them less appealing to me, but everyone else's mileage may vary.

Well, what little boy doesn't love cars? It was just that Matchbox series and Dinky toys were the only ones I knew about.
